For creating mysql database in cPanel follow the steps below,

Click on,

mysql databases

on the tab “databases”
Under the option ,

Create New Database

type the name of the database you need to create
Then for adding user for the database use the option,

Add New User

Type the username,password and then click on create user.
Now you need to add the user to the database, for that select the option ,

Add User To Database

It will now prompt to add permissions to the user, give the permissions needed for the user.

Now the database is created and you can use the user you created for accessing the database.
