Change add-on domain’s document root in cPanel:

If you wish to change the document root of an add-on domain that you have already created in a cPanel server, then you can simply change it  by following the steps that we have mentioned below,

Step 1:

Login to cPanel and click on Addon Domains under the Domains section

Step 2:

Double-click on the pencil icon under the Document Root column beside the domain you’d like to modify

Step 3:

Now you need to provide the name of the folder that you need to make as Document Root  and click Change.

Step 4:

Now you will see a window saying it’s updating the document root. After that click on OK. Then it will be updated.
