A message going to spam is a symptom, not a diagnosis. The same visible result can come from a broken DKIM signature, misaligned domains, a cold sending IP, a compromised account, poor list quality, a sudden increase in volume or a destination provider deciding that recipients do not want the mail.
Our email deliverability experts begin with a real sample and the complete route it travelled. Authentication-Results headers can show what the receiving system evaluated. Received headers reveal the path and delays. SMTP replies distinguish temporary deferrals from permanent rejection, while server logs can confirm what left the sending system and under which identity.
DNS is then checked against that evidence. An SPF record may be syntactically valid but omit one active sender. DKIM may pass for a provider domain while failing alignment with the visible From address. DMARC may publish a policy that legitimate applications are not ready to meet. Reverse DNS and the SMTP hostname may also disagree on a self-managed server.
Reputation cannot be repaired by DNS alone. If the technical foundation is correct but a business email still goes to spam, the next stage may involve controlled volume, better recipient quality, lower complaint rates and time.
