What you will work on

This career area contributes directly to the quality and reliability of iServerSupport's customer work. The exact balance depends on your experience and the needs of the team.

  • Review and maintain compute, networking, storage, identity and backup configurations.
  • Diagnose availability and performance issues across application and infrastructure layers.
  • Improve monitoring, access control, recovery readiness and operational documentation.
  • Plan changes with rollback paths and communicate cost, security and reliability trade-offs.

What we look for

We are interested in how you approach real work, explain decisions and handle uncertainty. Practical judgement matters more than a list of tools.

  • Production experience with at least one major public cloud platform.
  • Solid Linux, networking, IAM and troubleshooting fundamentals.
  • Ability to read an unfamiliar architecture and work from evidence.
  • Clear documentation and safe change-management habits.

Experience that can help

  • Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid systems.
  • Cloud certifications, infrastructure as code or container operations.
  • Knowledge of backup validation, disaster recovery and cost optimisation.
