Change windows server remote desktop port:
You can change the remote desktop port of the windows server by following the steps below,
Step 1.
Enter into the server and start Registry Editor
Step 2.
Now Locate the following registry subkey from there,
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\TerminalServer\WinStations\RDP-Tcp\PortNumber
Then click on it.
Step 3.
Now choose the Edit menu, click Modify, and then click Decimal.
Step 4.
Just type the new port number that you need to set and click OK.
Step 5.
Now close the Registry Editor
Step 6.
Restart the server.
Note: Make sure that you had opened the new port in the firewall settings, otherwise you won’t be able to access the server via RDP
