Lost WHMCS admin password:

As you all know that disabling admin reset link on WHMCS is a recommended security measure. So most people have it disabled. In case if you lost the admin password you will be not able to get in touch with your business. If you lost WHMCS admin password then you can reset it via mysql. For cPanel server’s do the following steps to reset the WHMCS admin password,

Step 1.

Login to cPanel

Step 2.

Select phpMyAdmin and get into the phpMyAdmin page.

Step 3.

In the left sidebar navigation (of phpMyAdmin) find and click on your WHMCS database.

Step 4.

Now you need to search for the table “tbladmins” if you selected the table then click “Browse” and then search for the administrator that you need to change password and click “Edit“

Step 5.

Find the “Password” section and from the drop down menu click “MD5“ and then enter your new password.

Step 6.

Click on Go button, after that you will be able to login with the new admin password.
