How to enable bruteforce in cpanel:

cPanel has a set of programs for the protection of login attempts to the server. Now a days hackers are attacking the server using Brute force attacks that tries to login to server using different set of passwords. To protect server from this kind of attacks, we can use cPHulk Brute Force Protection on cPanel server. Here once this module is enabled it will check the login failed logs and will block the IP address that were causing more number of login failed attempts towards the server.

For enabling this module, you need to follow the simple steps mentioned below,

Step 1.

First enter into the WHM console.

Step 2.

Go to,

Home >> Security Center >> cPHulk Brute Force Protection

Step 3.

Click on the Enable button for enabling cPHulk Brute Force Protection. This will enable cPHulk Brute Force Protection on your server.

Step 4.

You can also configure the options for cPHulk Protection. For that,

You can see a Configuration Settings tab on this window, for configuring the protection levels you need to setup the values on Configuration Settings manually.
